This place can't be remotely serious.

[Except it seems that it totally is, and Envy doesn't like it one bit. She'd been busy at home, dammit.]

Okay look, this whole setup is cute and everything- but honestly? I'm a little insulted. You'd think if the universe was going to kidnap me, it'd be to someplace a little more high-budget than this.

[Or something cool and indie, at the very least.]

So I guess my first question is- does anyone know the fastest route back to Canada? Because I've got this ten city tour that kind of needs its headlining act, and I would so hate to disappoint the people who paid for those shows. After that, I guess my second question is- does anyone know where I can get some decent clothes? The stuff in this bag is... cute, but it's not exactly my style, you know, and frankly-

These boots? Seriously not made for walking. So if you can help out, I'd appreciate it.

Over two months now! Oh, and to answer the other questions: no one has figured out a way to leave - I've got friends who have been here for over two human years - and there should be a clothes shop somewhere in town although bigger cities like Goldenrod will have more options.

What are you famous for? Are you an actress?

On the bright side, it's only about three days to Cherrygrove. The cities themselves aren't as spaced out as all that, but Goldenrod to New Bark is a bit further. If you're a trainer, I suggest you get the badges from Violet and Cianwood as soon as you can, so you can use Fly. That cuts things down considerably.

Yep! You can also check out the Breeding Centre; they have a newbie deal on eggs. One free egg! Which is a nice way to start things off, I think.

Yes, human hats don't really work for us. [ SADLY. Her fedora was awesome, but it didn't totally fit. Now, though? She can wear fedoras and they work. ]

Hm. Well, the first gym is Violet, and Faulkner uses bird types - so try to get a ground, rock, or electric type before getting here! I'd also try to have a water and fire type on hand for travelling - clean water and constant light slash fire sources!

I think trying for one of each type or at least a few multi-types is probably a good plan, too - not that specializing can't work, but it's nice to be prepared.

Yeah, I'll have to look up all the different types and see what I want to try for. Do they do that weird color-variation here? Where like... one in a billion or something like that is a different color than the rest?

I should! I just...hm, I suppose I got into the habit of thinking human hats wouldn't fit!

Shinies? Yep! Not in the wild so far unless there's some sort of special thing going on - weird events, I mean - but they can be bred if one of the parents is shiny.

It helps to keep up with breeding - I'm a breeder, so that's kind of my focus. Anyway, my travel partners gave me access to their rosters, so...it sort of makes my pool bigger. Some people outside of those three also said I could use theirs, so it's sort of nice!
